Some brands do not certify their products one by one. They have the company certified, and that proof is public, audited and dated. Others have nothing to put forward at company level, but their products carry attestations that we recorded one by one. We group them here for a simple reason: their proof is not read in the same place as on an ordinary page of this catalogue, where the label covers the material or the factory. The two do not replace one another, and we do not mix them.

The proof covers the company

A third party audited the company, published a score and dated its certification. That proof says nothing about any particular product, and we do not pass it off as such.

Cotopaxi

Some of this brand’s pieces belong to the Del Día range. Cotopaxi describes it as assembled in the Philippines from leftover fabric, with each colourway put together by the person who makes the bag. That is what the brand states, and we report it as such. What we can see for ourselves: every item is unique, and its colourway will not come back.
